What I like about HAYWIRE is the fact that it is not just some kind of extraordinary, outrageous, CG-laden action movie. Many other movies boast over being rooted in actuality, I Personally think HAYWIRE is going to shut their mouths seeing that over the most part of the movie, just what you see is in fact just what you will get. With no discourtesy to Statham's defeating up 60 men at a moment, that is truly excitingly far-fetched, however just what Carano's character Mallory Kane has got will be a a lot more creative set of self-defense forms, and consequently the end result is a really convincing choreography, each fight did not drag, oftentimes it is just one, two moves and over.
Virtually no athletic wire tricks or magnificent special effect. The action within this movie is physically possible. I really think it's extraordinary that Soderbergh prefers not to have any kind of music go with the battle sequences, there's music during the vehicles chases as well as the dramatic scenes and whenever shots are shot however soon after the battles begin, all you could see and hear are the battles. Impressive!
I'm saving the best part for this last paragraph, Gina Carano. What a revelation! Finally, a convincing, believable female action star who can also look elegant and beautiful. At first I was a bit concerned knowing that I'd be watching a film where a bunch of guys, famous guys I might add, were punching and kicking a woman. But after researching more on Carano, I became more concerned for the guys instead.
Actingwise, I think Carano does a fine job, she looks like a fast and disciplined learner, she holds her ground when facing such giants as Banderas and Douglas who've been in the business for years. Carano is sexy and lethal.
My favorite scene would have to be the brutal hand-to-hand combat between Carano's character, Mallory Kane and Michael Fassbender's character, Paul, in the hotel room. It's intense, chaotic, and thrilling. The first fight scene with Tatum is just as badass because you never know how far they'd hurt each other. But I'm sure that being a fighter, Carano finds all that to be her comfort zone. I hope we'll see her in more action films because she has what it takes, her future is bright in cinema. I like to watch free streaming movies online.
